Breakfast at The Old Posthouse B&B
Homemade Granola
We make our own Granola, using oats, seeds, nuts and dried fruit …have it with milk, yoghurt or fruit compote. However you like it, as one guest commented “..it’s simply divine!”
Porridge
We offer porridge with homemade compote (rhubarb when in season or mixed berries) and runny Lincolnshire honey. The porridge oats come from the Maud Foster windmill and whether it is their traditional way of rolling the oats or the accompaniments, guests love it.
Cooked Breakfast
There is a wide choice of main cooked breakfasts: The Full Old Posthouse with a choice of Redhill Farm Lincolnshire sausage or our homemade beef sausage slice; Grimsby traditional smoked salmon or smoked haddock with eggs; Redhill Farm Black Pudding with spinach and poached eggs; French Toast with fruit compote and Lincolnshire runny honey; and vegetarian and vegan options. Whatever you choose we hope you will agree with many of the reviews that we offer a great breakfast.
Breakfast is served between the following times:
Monday to Friday: from 7.30 am finishing at 9.00 am (from 7.30 am to 8.00 am there is a limited menu):
Saturday and Sunday: from 8.00 am finishing at 9.30 am.
Alternative times for breakfast can be offered on request and as agreed.
If you want a cooked breakfast, please let us know your order the night before.
Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs or allergies, so we can try our best to accommodate you.
Evening Meals at The Old Posthouse B&B
Evening Meals
We can also offer evening meals but require at least 24 hours prior notice so please reach out to us to discuss. Alternatively, there is a pub in the village, The Bottle & Glass, which is a 2-minute walk from the front door. However, please check beforehand.
If that isn’t open or serving food there is The Crown Inn at Glentham, which is a 5-minute drive away (or a 30-minute walk mainly along a footpath).
For directions to The Bottle & Glass and The Crown see our News section – So, Where Is The Pub?
