Seals and Coastal Wildlife


Is also home to the Mablethorpe Wildlife Rescue. https://www.thesealsanctuary.co.uk/ Has ample parking and provides easy access to the beach and a 1.5 mile walk on golden sands to Mablethorpe.

An area of approximately 5 miles of coastline running from Sandilands to Chapel St. Leonards. In the Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve which is a stretch of unspoilt coastline south of Skegness to the mouth of the Wash. There is a visitor centre at Gibraltar Point Observatory with stunning views. https://www.lincstrust.org.uk/get-involved/top-reserves/gibraltar-point
Beaches and Seaside Resorts

Lincolnshire boasts some of the most popular traditional seaside resorts - the main ones being Cleethorpes, Mablethorpe and Skegness

If you want a more relaxing beach then Lincolnshire’s coastline offers miles of clean sandy ones, including include Chapel Point at Chapel St. Leonards, Anderby Creek, Sandilands Beach, Huttoft (or Moggs Eye), Sutton on Sea and Saltfleet.
Mablethorpe, Skegness and Sutton on Sea are Blue Flag beaches (as of May 2024)
